Return Policy

At Lake Effect Games & Treasures, we specialize in used, vintage, and pre-owned items, each with its own unique character, history, and signs of wear. Because of the nature of these items, we encourage customers to review all photos, descriptions, and measurements carefully before purchasing.

Returns & Exchanges

All sales are final for used, vintage, and pre-owned items, including games, clothing, accessories, collectibles, and antiques.
We do not accept returns for:
- Wear consistent with age or use
- Fit issues
- Buyer’s remorse
- Color variations due to screen differences

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If an item arrives significantly different than described, damaged in transit, or you received the wrong item:

Contact us within 3 days of delivery.
Include:
- Your order number
- Photos of the item and packaging
- A brief description of the issue

We will review the case and, if approved, issue a refund.
Items must be returned in the same condition they were received.

Shipping Costs

Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
For approved returns, the buyer is responsible for return shipping.

Lost or Stolen Packages

Once an order is marked delivered by the carrier, we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

Item Condition Notice

Because our products are pre-owned:

Minor wear, patina, aging, fading, or light cosmetic flaws are considered normal and not grounds for return.
Clothing items may vary slightly in color due to screen differences.
Vintage items may have unique imperfections that add to their character.

We do our best to document all important details, but please ask any questions before purchasing.
